Patrik Björling Rygert is a System Architect, Shared Technologies, at AssaAbloy in Stockholm. For several years he has been the chair of an international group of engineers, who meet regularly in places all over the world. The purpose is to create an international standard for locks.

In June 2008 he made a guest performance as Mime in Wagner's opera Siegfried, at the new exciting opera-house in Valencia, Spain, designed by Santiago Calatrava. Conductor was Zubin Mehta.
In the summer of 2008 he performed at the Drottningholm Court Theater in Monteverdi's "Odysseus återkomst".
In November 2008 he performed in Dresden, Germany, at der Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden, in "Die Entführung aus dem Serail".
In 2009 and 2010 he again performed at the Valencia Opera, now in "Salome". Conductor again was Zubin Mehta.
The year 2011 included a performance in Florens, Italy.
Niklas has enjoyed working with Zubin Mehta on a regular basis; for instance in "Gurrelieder", where he sang Klaus Narr with the Israel Philharmonic, marking the celebration of Zubin Mehta’s 50th anniversary in Israel, and Valzacchi in "Der Rosenkavalier" at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino 2012. In the 2013/14 season he was again invited to Tel Aviv for concert performances of "Die Fledermaus" with the Israel Philharmonic.
In 2017 he sang the role of Manolios in Bohuslav Martinu's "The Greek Passion" at the Wermland Opera.
In 2019 he was Loge in "Der Rheingold", at Den Ny Opera in Esbjerg.
Kerstin
Kerstin Linden, born on August 24th, 2008, daughter of Niklas Björling Rygert and Anna Linden.
Kerstin is currently (November 2020) involved in the film production of the new movie (remake of) The Emigrants with Gustaf Skarsgård. Kerstin plays "Lill-Märta". The movie will première in December 2021.
